Kendel has been wanting and working hard to get a star student award and finally all of her (not so) patience came to an end. The first week of January was their principals last week at Heartland so it made it even more exciting for Kendel. On January 8th at the monthly awards assembly Kendel was given not just a star student award but the Principal's star award for "always being honest and conscientious of classmates". On Thursday all of the award recipients got to eat lunch with Mr. Goble and Kendel even stayed in during her lunch recess to watch him do all of his magic tricks. She was absolutely thrilled and talked about it for a couple of weeks afterwards. Congratulations Kendel we are so proud of all of your accomplishments. Love you tons and tons!
