Konnor got a star student award the end of November. Each month every teacher selects certain students that excel in the goal of the month and the Principal also selects from each class for any extra achievement they may have made. Konnor received his award for being the first student in his class to pass off his addition and subtraction facts. It was a fun day although I forgot to charge the batteries for the camera and so no pictures. I did however go back the next day and get a picture with Ms. Yawn. Konnor has finally settled into school and is enjoying 3rd grade. He always has is nose in a book (Harry Potter this week, again) and will be starting back into his piano lessons after the first of the year, yeah! Finally, he asked if his friend Nathaniel, (from Church and school) could come over. So, they got together twice and really seemed to have a good time. Transition complete! Almost, we don't mention the people we have left behind because I don't think any of us will ever get use to not having you as close as we want you to be.

Happy Holidays Woodburns..I am so happy to hear that everyone has settled into their new home and school. We will be missing you guys this holiday season. We got our box from you yesterday...Thanks! we love and miss you all....Aunt Marybeth
